DOG & CAT BOARDING IN DALLAS, OR

The Shaggy Dog is an all-indoor boarding facility. We believe that this provides for your dog's maximum comfort during all seasons, whether it is hot, cold, wet or windy.

Dog Boarding Packages

Regular Boarding

All guests are taken outside after breakfast in the morning and are out for about 20 minutes. They are taken out again in the afternoon sometime between 3:00 & 4:00 pm and are out for about 20 minutes.

Pampered Dog

In addition to going out while their runs are being cleaned, pampered dogs get two additional 15-minute exercise times, one at mid-day and one about 9:00 pm, in one of the large grassy play yards. During these exercise times, dogs run off leash chasing balls, sniffing, checking out dogs in the next play yard, and getting love and attention from one of our staff members. This additional exercise helps dogs work off excess energy, relieves stress, and helps them rest better, which leads to an enjoyable experience for your dog and to your peace of mind.

Additional Services

We offer many additional services to accommodate your dog's needs and desires. Among these services are administration of most types of medications, special care for geriatric pets, accommodation for special dietary needs, extra exercise sessions, group play, etc.. Cat Boarding

Cats are boarded in the privacy of the separate cattery. Spacious condos that are 3 ½' wide by 5 ½' long by 4' tall allow lots of room for lounging and playing.

We can administer most types of medications, provide special care for geriatric pets, and accommodate special dietary needs. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Doggie Daycare

Dogs are natural pack animals and socializing with other dogs in a daycare setting provides them an opportunity to make friends.

We offer a large indoor playroom as well as multiple fenced grassy yards for your dog's enjoyment. Your dog will have the opportunity to play with toys, play on agility equipment, play in pools of cool water (during warm weather), or just hang out with his buddies.

Age: All dogs must be 16 weeks of age or older and must be spayed or neutered if they are over 6 months of age.

Required Vaccinations: Rabies (if 6 months or older), Distemper/Parvo combination, and Bordatella

Health: All dogs must be in good health and must not have been ill with a communicable disease in the past 30 days.

Behavior: All dogs must be non-aggressive towards dogs and humans. Please remember that your dog will be spending time with other dogs and that our main concern is the health and safety of all dogs in our care.

Saturdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
