THANK YOU: SHAGGY DOG

Recently while I was in the hospital for a few days, we
boarded our 1 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd at the
Shaggy Dog kennel. The first evening he was there he
became lethargic and would not eat. Staff member, Shelly,
became concerned and went out at about 11 pm to check on
him, he had vomited and was running a temperature. She
called my wife and decided Shelly should drive him to an
emergency clinic in Salem. They immediately started
antibiotics for possible salmonella poisoning. The next
morning my wife took him to our Veterinarian at Ash
Creek in Independence where they continued the treatment.

The bottom line is, the staff at Shaggy Dog saved my dogs'
life!!! We will always be thankful to the staff of such a
great facility.

Dear Shelly & Shaggy Dog,

Just a note to thank you so much for giving Spike extra TLC & helping him to recover after his ordeal of being lost. He’s doing great, has gained weight, & is in excellent spirits. It was so reassuring to know Spike was in such kind, loving & compassionate care.  A big thank you to all who helped in his care.
